In a unexpected collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of forbidden practices and monstrous transformations reverberate through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret cult.
The adventure concentrates on "strange experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
